Hi Johannes,
I am using the Led’s that I got from you and I noticed that they light even when there is no power connected to the Automat (the adapter was not connected). In that case I think they draw power from my ipad that is driving the Automat. Does that mean that the Leds are always drawing power from my Ipad even when power is connected to the Automat?
I do have the impression that my ipad looses power moer quickly lately, but I do not know if these two things are related. Thanks
Marc
The automat switches it’s powersupply to the USB connection if there is no Power Supply Brick connected. But in that case it’s of course only 5Volts available.
The LED’s if connected on the cable of the solenoid can only be “ON” if the switches in the automat are activated “ON”.
So if you have a app on your iPAD running in background that switches the outputs of the automat to on - or leaves them “ON” if you close the App it is possible that you would draw power from the iPad and the LEDs maybe light up very DIM with the power supplied by the iPAD.
I hope that answers your question.
I would recommend disconnecting the power brick and USB if you are not running the automat.
Hi Johannes,
Yes I think it is clear.
Thanks for clarifying this.
All the best,
Marc
