I recently finished a university project for which I used DADA machines. It was not the main focus of the project, but they do pop up in this promo video in case anyone is interested. It was about ‘organic overdubbing’, which refers to how overdubbing instead of recording together doesn’t result in the same sound. I tried to find out if it was possible to get a more ‘organic’ sound when recording alone. I ended up reamping everything (for which I used the dada machines) and projecting myself as is visible in the video.
